BIOGRAPHY

Welcome to my Home Page and thank you for visiting my site.

I have been a Doberman fancier since 1971. During this time I have bred many Royolyn champions, among them several of which are Best in Show and Specialty winners, as well as Breed & Group Winners in 3 countries. We have also bred many obedience titled dogs that include Am. & Can. T.D.'s, U.D.'s, WAC's,  T.T.'s, DPCA ROM as well as DPCC ROMC's. And now most recently, in Agility, Royolyn No Contest MACH competing sucessfully in the U.S. and Ch Royolyn Game Point CD AgN, who is competing in Canada.

Royolyn dogs have been many times awarded DPCC's Sire of the Year, Dam of the Year, and both Obedience Sire and Dam of the year, and recently DPCC's Working Dog of the Year (Ch Royolyn Game Point AgN CD).

In addition, Royolyn Eighteen Twelve, Am.Can.CD, TD, WAC, TT, UDC-T1, UDC-VC, Ira was the first Doberman to be certified by a Search and Rescue organization in Canada (the Search and Rescue Dog Association of Alberta). Another dog of my breeding, Am.Ch.Royolyn's Lyric Schauffelein CDX was a 'Movie Star' as one of the two Dobermans featured in 'Magnum P.I.' Lyric was owned and trained by Larry Ng.

I am very proud of those Obedience titled dogs who made it possible for me to achieve several DPCC Obedience Breeder of the Year awards. Two of my breeding, owned and trained by Lynn Sawyer have also been top winning UD dogs in the U.S. I am also proud of DPCA Medallions awarded 4/19/86 and 5/30/96 in Canada, to Am Can Ch Royolyn Supertramp and Ch Royolyn Ice Sculpture.

I am a Past President of the Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada and the Northern Alberta Doberman Pinscher Club and have served as Show Chairman for numerous Specialties, including three Nationals. I was honored to have been invited to judge Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes for three Specialties, among them two Canadian Nationals. I am presently serving on the Boards of both the Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada and the Alberta Doberman Club.
